How will you be remembered?
My special needs niece, Elisha has a name for Lenny. Lenny Sherry. She also has a name for me – Lenny Sherry. I wouldn’t change it for anything because individually we were half of whole. Then and now.
So when I get beautiful words of encouragement like the one below I not only weep but thank God for the bounty of blessings we shared serving side by side… Holding hands and making memories, kingdom-sized memories.
So thank you Lord for having the young lady below remind this child of one of the sweetest gifts you gave me… My husband. My someone’s silly, wonderfully endearing, passionate, prayer warrior, grace bearing, shepherd, and best friend.
“Sherry, I’m not sure you remember me, but I sure do you & Lenny. I believe the Lord helped me to “accidentally” run across one of your excerpts from your book on here. I kept saying your name over & over, until it finally dawned on me. If it had said Lenny & Sherry Brewer, I would’ve known immediately!
I guess that’s how I remember the two of you…together. As I kept searching, I was so shocked & saddened to hear of his passing. I cried. I kept reading your words about the day it happened. How could I not have known about this?
I’m sorry I didn’t know. He was a wonderful man, who was so great to our kids! You two exemplified what I wanted in a marriage & I have that now!
Your words ached at my heart. I’m just reaching out to tell you I’m so sorry for your loss. I don’t want to imagine your pain. I will pray for you & your family. My heart pours out to you.
Wanted you to know his ministry touched another family & that is a great thing! I would love to purchase your book, if they’re still available? Please let me know how I can go about getting one. Your writings are so heart felt…from your very being.
Again, I’m sorry I didn’t know. You’re in my heart & prayers. ❤️
In His Love,
