Just do it

When God gives you a vision or passion for a thing He also gives you what you need and prepares and equips you so that you are ready for it.

Occassionally all you have to do is be obedient and show up. But faith is not a ‘spiritual’ vacation… with the premier destination at the end and an endearing countdown as you wait.

That actually is a vacation.

Here we are told we need endurance. To be as wise as serpents and as harmless as doves. Here we are told to persevere. Here we are told to take up our cross. Here we are told to be sober and vigilant. That is not endearing but an enduring faith.

When the Father calls you to something you and I must invest ourselves in it and take up our cross to complete it and often there are mountains we must climb in order to get there.

Sometimes that means you have to think ahead and prepare your heart. Sometimes that means you have to lay aside your want to lose in order to… Get it done. Sometimes that means it cost you physically. Sometimes it cost you time. And sometimes it cost you financially.

But there needs to be no whining as we have not yet resisted to bloodshed and having put our hands to the plow may we Faithfully get to the business at hand and complete the thing we have been called to… that we have been given a Vision for.

Never anticipate going to the same place, encountering like-minded people, doing the same task… whether you are at work, or on a mission trip, always anticipate that God is able and doing something unexpected and different.

He has called and equipped us to it therefore, brother and sister ‘Let’s do it!’

Don’t anticipate to do less than an experience the fullness of. Don’t expect it to be the same old same… Sometimes the same old place, is as different as this view of Wendy’s.

Today is not the same old thing it has every opportunity to be different.

The question is are we going to be different enough to be used.
